It’s difficult to know where to start and stop on the story of keith sykes. his life has taken him thru tales that would take most people 4 or 5 lifetimes. tales and travels with the likes of ramblin’ jack elliot, guy clark, john prine, jerry jeff walker, bonnie rait, jimmy buffet, rosanne cash, rodney crowell, todd snider, linda ronstadt, willie nelson, iris dement and more. you better believe he can tell stories as long as you can listen. his songs tell a lot of the stories (save some of the unmentionable ones), in a way that only the real legends can tell it. ALL I KNOW is classic keith because he makes you feel like he’s pulled up a chair to your kitchen table and just started telling it. a duet with jerry jeff walker, a guy clark song, and LONG MONDAY (co-written with john prine) rounds out one of MADJACK’s proudest and most notable releases yet. bottom line…keith sykes is cool.
